On the afternoon of 23 February, the third of the 10 specimens to be released in Extremadura in 2023 was released.
It is a specimen called “Tanque”, from the El Acebuche breeding centre (Huelva).
It has been released using the hard release method in the ZEC of the Ortiga river, in the Don Benito TM.
