On 27th February last, two Iberian lynx were released in the Highlands of Lorca.

They are two females called Vilna and Verdad, weighing 9 and 6 kilograms respectively, which come from the El Acebuche Breeding Centre (Huelva), and which complete this year’s release period of five Iberian lynxes. Thus, these two specimens are added to three others that were released recently: Vulcana, Vikinga and Viento.
