The President of the Regional Government, Fernando López Miras, participated yesterday in the release of two new specimens of Iberian lynx in the Highlands of Lorca, both males. Specifically, López Miras released the specimen called Urso (11.8 kg), which, together with the other lynx released, Uff (10.8 kg), expands the population of this species and culminates the second phase of the European LIFE LYNXCONNECT programme.
