LYNXCONNECT and Artemisan close the month with talks on the Iberian lynx in Villamanrique and Villanueva de los Infantes
February 10, 2026
LIFE LYNXCONNECT and the Artemisan Foundation closed the month with two informative talks on the Iberian lynx, held in the municipalities of Villamanrique and Villanueva de los Infantes, in the province of Ciudad Real.
A total of 40 people attended these talks, which addressed the current situation of the Iberian lynx and its coexistence with other species in the natural environment. The meetings generated a highly participatory space, where questions were answered and knowledge about this emblematic species was promoted.
These talks are part of the European LIFE LYNXCONNECT project, whose main objective is to connect Iberian lynx populations to ensure their long-term viability.
The Artemisan Foundation would like to thank the Castile-La Mancha Hunting Federation for its collaboration, as well as all the participants for their attendance and interest, whose involvement contributes to the success of these conservation initiatives.
