On Saturday 16th March, a day of workshops will take place in the Plaza de la Biodiversidad in Píñar (Granada), where children will be able to learn about the Iberian lynx.
The event, part of the LIFE LYNXCONNECT project, aims to raise public awareness of the importance of conserving the Iberian lynx and to encourage respectful attitudes that favour the survival of the species.
The event, which will take place between 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., will include a series of workshops that will provide a fun, family-friendly atmosphere in which to learn about the fundamental aspects of the Iberian lynx:
Storytelling about the lynx. Two storytelling sessions will be scheduled throughout the morning, one at 11:30 am and the other at 1:30 pm.
Photographic exhibition on the Iberian lynx, showing its reintroduction to its natural territories.
Photocall with chroma key, where attendees can have their photograph taken and then include a background related to the lynx and upload the image to the project’s website.
Road education circuit “Beware of lynxes”, where the little ones can drive go-karts while learning basic notions of road education and one of the main causes of their death: road traffic accidents.
The Iberian lynx goose game. There will be a large goose game and a giant dice. The participating public will be able to advance through the squares of the game, having to answer a series of questions about the lynx.
