LIFE LYNXCONNEXT technicians have visited the Don Benito town council in order to contact the new municipal corporation and inform them of the objectives of the Project and the habitat improvement actions that are being carried out in the area and on the farm owned by the town council.

In addition, the councillors and technicians from the town council visited with technicians from the General Directorate of Sustainability of the Regional Government of Extremadura and FOTEX field staff to check in situ the future enclosure of a nearby asphalted road, which is dangerous due to the possibility of lynx being run over.

The Municipal Corporation of Don Benito was very grateful for the visit, and was very cooperative at all times, valuing the actions very positively and expressing their desire for future collaboration in terms of informative talks, meetings with hunting managers, etc., and a calendar is already being established for future meetings and outreach activities in their towns.
