The conference, jointly organised by the Ministry for Ecological Transition and the European projects LIFE LynxConnect and LIFE Safe-Crossing, will focus on presenting experiences and discussing actions aimed at favouring the permeability of the territorial matrix and, in particular, at reducing the impacts on biodiversity of linear transport infrastructures present in the national territory.
It will be held in the city of Seville and will take place between 31 May and 2 June 2023.
Wednesday 31 May will focus on the presentation of experiences related to the European projects LIFE LynxConnect and LIFE Safe-Crossing.
On Thursday, 1 June, the participants will present, among others, paradigmatic examples of defragmentation strategies at European level, analysis of areas with priority for defragmentation or restoration projects of ecological connectors that integrate the reduction of the effects of habitat fragmentation caused by infrastructures.
On Friday 2 June a field trip will take place to visit different mitigation measures in the field. A picnic will be held in the field.
More information about the conference and a registration form will be available soon.
