The Universidad de Córdoba (UCO) is a non-profit institution of higher education and research with a strong commitment to society, promoting innovation, research and technological development as tools for social and economic progress.
Their research efforts are under the direction of 193 research units and 2500 staff members from different disciplines ranging from the humanities, to legal and social sciences, health sciences and technological science.
Since 2014, the UCO has received financing for 16 projects through Horizon 2020, and for 10 projects from other European programmes. From 2007-2013, they received financing for 30 projects through the 7th Framework Programme (FP7), and for 19 projects from other European programmes.
The team, composed of different professors from the Faculty of Veterinary Sciences, has experience in the study of the molecular basis of the health and welfare in different animal species.
