On January 28, 2026, the webinar “The Iberian lynx and other animals on the road: preventing roadkill and acting safely” was held with great success. It was organized by LIFE Lynxconnect with the support of the Institute for Nature Conservation and Forests (ICNF), in collaboration with the Institute of Mobility and Transport (IMT).
The session, primarily aimed at driving instructors but open to institutions involved in infrastructure management, brought together 164 participants. This was the first time that training on road safety awareness and wildlife conservation was included in the project.

This training activity is part of the awareness and training initiatives promoted by the LIFE LYNXCONNECT project, which aims, among other objectives, to reduce unnatural mortality of the species and promote safer and more wildlife-friendly driving practices.
